The Home Inspection process:

A standard home inspection includes a thorough visual observation of the interior and exterior of the home. We inspect the exterior from the roof down to the foundation and the interior from the attic to the crawlspace or basement. We go through all the rooms viewing the floors, walls, and ceilings while checking the fit of the windows and the doors.
Additionally, we check the electrical receptacles, all the plumbing fixtures and
the mechanical systems such as the central heat/air.

At the completion of the inspection a twenty-two-page computer generated report is prepared on site. This report describes the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural details of the home. At the end of the report is a summary of defects and important information that appears at one grouping.
The inspector reviews this report summary with the client prior to leaving the property. You are also always encouraged to call with any questions regarding your inspection or home after HomePro Inspection Inc issues you the report.

HomePro Inspection, Inc. adheres to the Standards and Practices of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Please see the links section for a printable version of the complete Standards and Practices for ASHI.
